Enjoy spring skiing before the snow melts, which marks the beginning of trout fishing season in the alpine streams and lakes, and invites hikers and mountain bikers of all abilities to traverse the diverse terrain of the area. Mountain bikers will especially want to visit the Mammoth Mountain Bike Park, a world-class park that spans more than 1,400 acres and features more than 128 miles of trails. Continue hiking and biking during the summer and fall months, but also set aside time for paddle surfing, road biking, horseback riding, ziplining and golfing. In the fall, you'll be greeted by the color-changing aspen trees and a few other visitors.
